“As a litigation partner at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, the third-largest law firm in Dallas, I handle a complex and sophisticated docket. My clients expect me to produce quality work in a timely fashion. And I will bring the same work ethic to the bench that my clients currently expect from me as a partner at a respected law firm. If I have to work late in order to timely rule on a motion, then I will work late; if I must come to the court’s chambers on weekends to prepare for the next week’s hearings, I will come in on weekends. I will not repay the voters of Dallas County for their trust in me by treating the 298th bench as a typical government job.”
